What happens when you visit

Storybook Ireland is hosted by Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and browser details in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Pages and photos come from our own domains.

When you open an interactive map, your browser also requests base map tiles fromOpenFreeMap and map label fonts fromVersaTiles, which see your IP address as part of those requests. Pages show a still picture of the map until you interact with it.

Enquiry forms

If you use our contact, advertising or councils form, we store what you send (your name, email address, message and any business details) in a database hosted by Cloudflare in Western Europe, and use it only to reply to you.

Cookies, ads and analytics

We don't use cookies, advertising or analytics at the moment. If that changes, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page and our cookie page.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to booking sites such as GetYourGuide, Viator and Booking.com. They have their own privacy policies, and may use cookies once you're on their site.

Your rights
